PC game deal guide
How to compare PC game deals without overpaying.
A short guide to reading store offers, discounts, ratings, and tracking signals before buying a PC game.
Compare the final store price
The cheapest displayed offer is a useful starting point, but the final checkout page matters most.
Check currency, taxes, region locks, platform, edition, and whether the key activates on Steam, GOG, Epic, or another launcher.
Do not trust discount percentage alone
A large discount can still be a poor deal if the normal price is inflated or if the same game is cheaper elsewhere.
Compare the current lowest price, store spread, and rating signals together.
Use target prices
Set a target price based on what the game is worth to you, not only the current discount label.
Tracking helps avoid impulse purchases during sales.
Watch bundles and editions
Gold, deluxe, complete, and bundle editions may include DLC or extra content, but they can also make comparisons harder.
Make sure you are comparing the same edition across stores.
